A transfer to Anfield could become a reality if Isak proves unattainable.
For now, Isak is Liverpool’s first-choice target. Only if negotiations collapse will the club intensify their pursuit of Rodrygo. Encouragingly for the Reds, Alisson’s influence could prove decisive.
