BREAKING NEWS ‼️: “It’s either they sell him or I go—I don’t think we can play together anymore,” says Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund, reportedly furious with a specific teammate after the Southampton match. The Danish forward has allegedly issued an ultimatum, expressing frustration with the player.

Rasmus Højlund was visibly furious after Alejandro Garnacho missed an easy chance against Southampton.

In the 20th minute of Manchester United’s Premier League match, Højlund broke into the box and passed the ball to Garnacho, but the struggling winger mishit his shot wide. Højlund reacted angrily, kicking the post in frustration, and his outburst was captured on camera.

The miss seemed even more costly when Southampton took the lead shortly after. However, Amad Diallo’s late hat-trick rescued United from embarrassment.

Garnacho, who was given his 11th Premier League start of the season at Old Trafford, continues to be the subject of transfer speculation. Napoli is reportedly interested in signing the Argentine winger and has been following his situation closely.

According to The Mirror, United has rejected a £40 million bid from Napoli for Garnacho. The Serie A leaders are bracing for a potential sale of Khvicha Kvaratskelia to PSG in a £70 million deal and are eyeing Garnacho as a replacement. United is said to be holding out for £60 million for the winger, who came through the club’s youth system and has scored 23 goals in 116 appearances since his debut in 2022.

Despite rumors of a possible move away, Garnacho remains at Old Trafford for now. He has had a strained relationship with manager Ruben Amorim, having been dropped from the squad for the Manchester derby in December, although he played the full 90 minutes against Southampton.
