Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has publicly expressed his desire for the club to bolster its squad, emphasizing the need for high-caliber signings to compete for major titles. This comes amid growing speculation linking Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres with a move to Old Trafford.

“I’ve always told the club that I don’t want to be promised that we’re going to be champions… What I’ve always asked for and what I want from the club is for us to be competitive.”
