This firm stance aligns well with Newcastle’s broader goals. So far, there’s been no indication from Isak that he wants to leave, which significantly strengthens the club’s position in holding onto him—so long as he doesn’t request a transfer.

While missing out on Champions League qualification might complicate matters, Newcastle are currently on course for a top-five finish, which would help ease concerns and likely keep their star striker at St. James’ Park for at least another season.
